Create A Fantasy Flower Creature


Now, we are going to create a cool fantasy flower creature and I will show you exactly how to do it! I used Photoshop CS3 to create this image.

A few of the tools/techniques we will need to use throughout this tutorial: radial gradient layer effects, adjustment layers, dodge, burn, sharpen, gradient tool, layer masks, warp, and clone.

A Golden Planet for Monas Sightseeing

I try to make an awesome sightseeing which we never see in real life. This tutorial will show you how to make a golden planet by hand!

Step 1: Firstly, you have to look for a nice background. You can use your own background the image below. Senja di Monas.



Step 2: Create a new layer (Ctrl-Shift-N) and use the Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) to select a circular area


Step 3: Switch your background color as shown below.

Press Ctrl-Backspace to fill the circular selection with your background color.
Go to Filter > Render > Clouds to fill it with clouds. Go to Filter > Render > Difference Clouds to put your clouds in contrast. Press Ctrl-F to repeat this effect again

Step 4: Press Ctrl-D to deselect it. Press Ctrl-U to open up the Hue/Saturation dialog box. Make sure to tick on the Colorize checkbox and use these settings:

Now our circle turn out into an orange planet but we have to make it more real


Step 5: Double click on Layer 1, which contains our planet and use these effects



Now our image will look like this:
Step 6: Use the Erase Tool (E) to erase the bottom of our image so that our audience believes it lying at the horizon.



You can make some adjustment to make it more real.

Changeable Hair Color with Photoshop

This tutorial will show you how to change the hair color easily with Photoshop. The effect looks natural and beautiful but very easy to achieve!


Step 1: First open the photo you want to make this effect on. In this tutorial I use the photo below:

Before getting started, you should increase the resolution to 300 dpi, make the skin smoother by going to Filter>Blur>Surface Blur and use these settings:


Step 2: Press D and X to reset and swap your foreground and background colors. Enter the Quick Mask Mode (Q) and use a soft brush to color some parts of her hair


Then exit the Quick Mask mode. Now you can see there are 2 areas: selected area and unselected area as below. The area that we painted on is now turn into unselected area


Step 3: Press Ctrl-Shift-I to invert the selection areas



Step 4: Press Ctrl-J to create a new layer with the selected area duplicated so that we can process it as we want


Step 5: Go to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation (Ctrl-U) to bring up the Hue/Saturation box, adjust sliders to achieve the color you want


Step 6: We should make it smoother and more natural so go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. This tool makes the edges' hair become smoother.


Finally, repeat the steps above as you wants for more hair colors.
